Conferences are just one of the ways in which much of the current archaeological research going on across Scotland becomes more widely known about.
ScARF wishes to encourage students to attend conferences and take notes on behalf of the ScARF project. These notes will end up here as both a record of the conference itself but also as a way to inform future thinking and research.
One of the main aims is that any research recomendations that arise at a conference can be used to inform and update the ones on ScARF. Where this has happened, a comment will appear under the research recommendation for the relevant panel highlighting the addition.
The majority of reports submitted by students who have attended conferences with help from a ScARF bursary can be found at http://www.socantscot.org/category/student-report/
Other conference notes are available below.
